WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THE WORKSHOPS

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THE WORKSHOPS

  • Students who are studying drama at school or college and are finding that the curriculum is not delivering the expertise or networking opportunities needed to pursue a career as a professional actor.

  • Professionals who may want to keep their creative juices flowing and network with like-minded people.
  • Drama is also an excellent tool to help people overcome insecurities and help them gain self-confidence.
  • Amateurs who have a desire to advance into the professional world or whom may want to cultivate their acting technique.

Barry Wilson Teacher of Media Seevic College

New Town delivered a live brief to a group of media students at Seevic College. The students thoroughly enjoyed the project, which was to create a film trailer for New Town. The students learnt a lot from the guys at New Town and they gave the students excellent feedback and valuable industry experience. Their professionalism and enthusiasm for the world of film came across to the students and was very inspiring for them.

Jodie Wick

Dear Terry, Thank you so much for your talk yesterday! It was great to meet you and refreshing to hear about your practical experiences. The feedback has been excellent and those that were there seemed to get a lot out of the session. It would be great to get you back to do some further sessions…
